Effective for everyone who buys or watches content on miriVOD.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or purchasing access you agree to these terms. You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
2. What you are buying
You buy a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to stream the purchased video or series for as long as it remains available on the platform. You are not buying the video file, and no ownership or download right is granted.
3. Content is sold by the organization
Videos are produced and priced by the organization whose page you buy from. The Platform processes the payment and operates the viewing experience.
4. NO REFUND ONCE PLAYBACK STARTS
You may request a refund before you start watching. Once playback of a purchased video begins - or of any video inside a purchased series - that purchase is final and non-refundable. By agreeing to these terms you expressly request immediate access to the content and acknowledge that you lose any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right once playback starts, to the extent permitted by law. Refund requests made before playback are reviewed by the Platform and are normally granted within 30 days of purchase. The Platform records the exact date and time your first playback begins and uses that record to decide refund requests.
5. One device at a time
Your account may be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in elsewhere signs the earlier device out. Account sharing, resale of access, and sharing of playback links are prohibited.
6. No copying or redistribution
You may not record, download, screen-capture, re-transmit, publicly display or redistribute any content. Each playback session is watermarked with your account email. Breach may result in immediate termination without refund and in legal action by the rights holder.
7. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to circumvent the paywall, extract underlying video addresses, probe or attack the service, or use automated tools against it.
8. Account security
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify the Platform immediately of unauthorised use.
9. Data and privacy
For security, fraud prevention and refund decisions the Platform records your sign-ins, the pages you open, when you start playback, your IP address and browser information, and shares the relevant events with the organization whose content you accessed.
10. Availability
Content availability depends on the organization and on the third-party video host. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may remove content at a rights holder's request. If content you purchased becomes permanently unavailable and you have not yet watched it, contact support for a refund.
11. Termination
The Platform may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Purchases linked to fraud, chargebacks or sharing may be revoked without refund.
12. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law the Platform's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the purchase giving rise to the claim.
13. Changes
The Platform may publish a new version of these terms. Each version you accept is recorded against your account with the date, IP address and the exact text you agreed to.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
15. Events outside our control
The Platform is not responsible for any delay, interruption, degradation or temporary loss of availability caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These circumstances include internet or telecommunications outages; power failures; hosting, cloud, server, network, domain-name or payment-provider outages; denial-of-service attacks, malware, unauthorised attacks or other cybersecurity incidents; scheduled or emergency maintenance; failures or changes by YouTube or any other third-party service; removal, restriction, blocking or unavailability of a video or YouTube account; changes to third-party terms, APIs, embedding rules or geographic availability; acts of government; labour disputes; fire, flood, severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, war, terrorism or civil unrest. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available service and is not liable for losses arising from such events to the maximum extent permitted by law. The Platform will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore service it controls. Nothing in this section limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
